When is the conference? On May 2oth and 21st 2017.

Where is the venue? The conference will be held at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut. (Koserstr. 20, 14195 Berlin) 

Who can apply? The conference is open to every undergraduate and graduate student of history, area studies, and related disciplines, not yet holding a Ph.D. We encourage undergraduate students: if you’ve ever written a paper or essay in the field of global history, this is the perfect place to present it! The goal is to exchange experiences and work together in an open and non-competitive way.

How can I apply? The application process consists of three steps:

  1. Submit the registration form. (Deadline: Feb 1st 2017)
  2. Submit your abstract. (Deadline: Feb 1st 2017
  3. Submit your paper summary. (Deadline: March 31st 2017).

What are the language requirements? Presentations and discussions are held in English.

Is there any fee to pay? No.

What if I can’t afford the journey to Berlin? Don’t worry! We will offer you some funding for travel and accommodation expenses. For further details please send us an e-mail.
